One of the original founders of Cambridge's Heavy Soul! Pauls love of soul, jazz and funk began in the mid-80s listening to Robbie Vincent on BBC Radio 1 (think Al Hudson & One Way, Anita Baker, Maze feat. Frankie Beverly), and he is still crate-digging and finding “new-to-me” gems while building a community of friends through the Soulpower-Radio. Paul has his own music community FB page “Beats & Pieces” and likes to promote new music. His DJ style is new soulful releases with reworked classics and a healthy dose of soulful house.
